Dielectric spectroscopy of complex systems

Dielectric spectroscopy technique was used to investigate relaxation phenomena in various complex systems. Empirical data obtained for two general class of physical systems i.e. dipolar and hopping ones were analyzed. In order to relate mezo- and microscopic spatio-temporal properties of the considered materials to the universal power-law relaxation behaviour stochastic scenarios of relaxation processes were implemented. Such a research methodology allows one to perceive properties of physical systems which are indiscernible when the deterministic description of their internal dynamics is applied.
