Towards the theory of unconventional superconductivity: Real-space pairing, strong electronic correlations, and comparison to experiment
prof. dr hab. Józef Spałek
Marian Smoluchowski Institute of Physics, Jagiellonian University, Kraków
I present a brief didactical overview of an unconventional superconductivity for strongly correlated electron systems. I argue how and why the approach in this situation differs with the BCS theory, as well as characterize the principal results when going beyond the so-called renormalized mean field theory. The main point of the talk is the comparison of our theoretical results with selected experimental results. Some unresolved questions will be raised at the end.
