Quantum oscillations in topological insulators based on Bi₂Ch₃(Ch=Se, Te) single crystals

Sadakov: We report the observation of Shubnikov-de Haas and Hall oscillations in high quality Bi_2-xCu_xSe₃ and Bi_2-xTe₃Sn_x single crystals grown from melt by modified Bridgman method. By rotating the sample plane with respect to the direction of magnetic field we proved that these oscillations demonstrate 2D behavior and depend only on the perpendicular component of the applied magnetic field.
