Behind adiabatic transfer of electron in Silicon Quantum Dots

An electron as a flying qubit can be shuttled across Quantum Dots in Si. Although favorable for particle transfer, slow (adiabatic) transition might be suboptimal for preserving its coherence. Hence a possibility of phonon-assisted, non-adiabatic transition should be considered. Secondly, if electron as the quantum messenger eventually fails, I will show how its failure might used to characterize spatial correlations of charge noise.
