Neutrons for magnetism and hydrogen storage

Neutrons are known to be a versatile probe for investigation of magnetic systems. However, they are much less popular tool for hydrogen storage and studies of hydrides. My talk will be focus on using neutrons for imaging of solid-state hydrogen storage systems (LaNi₅, TiMn₂, Mg), structural investigation of deuterides (LaNi₅, Ti-Zr-Ni amorphous and quasicrystalline alloys) and tuning magnetic properties of Ce-based compounds using hydrogen (CePdIn_1-xSn_xH_y).
