Crystal structure and lattice dynamics of nanostructured low-melting metals

The crystal structure of nanocomposites based on porous glasses with In, Pb and Sn embedded into the pores, have been studied by neutron and X-rays diffractions. The vibration spectra of Pb and Sn in a restricted geometry have been obtained from analysis of inelastic neutron scattering and nuclear resonance inelastic scattering of synchrotron radiation. The model of space organization of metal nanoparticles is discussed.
