Seminarium INTiBS PAN
Szanowni Państwo,
W czwartek, 19 marca o godzinie 13:30 na platformie MS Teams odbędzie się Seminarium INTiBS PAN, podczas którego prof. Philippe Goldner z CNRS - PSL University wygłosi referat pt. "Rare earth doped crystals for integrated quantum photonics".

Philippe Goldner, a researcher at Chimie ParisTech – PSL. The winner of the ERC Advanced Grant 2020 for his "RareDiamond" project aimed at developing high-quality materials in which rare earth ions and diamond colored centers can interact at the nanoscale.
Portrait. Philippe Goldner began his career as a researcher in Meudon-Bellevue in 1993. CNRS Research Director at IRCP, he currently heads the Crystals and Quantum State Dynamics group. Philippe Goldner was first interested in materials doped by rare earth ions for applications in lasers and fiber optic telecommunications. He conducted this research in Meudon-Bellevue and at the National Centre for Telecommunications Studies (CNET) in Bagneux, which no longer exists. When he arrived at Chimie ParisTech – PSL in 2002, he began to study the coherence properties of rare earths in crystalline matrices and their applications to quantum technologies. In his recent work, he has proposed new spectroscopic methods adapted to nanomaterials and is developing, with his team, this type of system.
