Magnetic and magnetocaloric properties of the Gd_0.8Tb_0.2 single crystal in fields up то 14T

Magnetic properties, magnetic phase transitions and magnetocaloric effect of single crystal Gd_0.8Tb_0.2 alloy were studied by measuring temperature and field dependencies of magnetization and magnetocaloric effect. Obtained results allows to evaluate the possibility of using Landau theory of second-order phase transitions for MCE description in strong magnetic fields for rare earth metals alloys.
