We are pleased to announce that Prof. Dr. hab. Łukasz Marciniak from the Department of Biomedical Physicochemistry has been awarded the title of the NCN SONATA BIS 15 competition.

For his project entitled "Functional synergy between transition metal ions luminescence and host materials with negative thermal expansion – a new class of thermally activated and modulated near infrared emitting phosphors" received funding of over PLN 3.9 million.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Professor Łukasz Marciniak and wish him every success in implementing his project!
