Dr. hab. Patrícia Prediger holds a bachelor's degree in Industrial Chemistry (2005) and a master's degree in Organic Chemistry (2007) from the Federal University of Santa Maria. She completed her doctorate at the State University of Campinas (2012), including a sandwich doctoral period at the Université de Toulouse III (Paul Sabatier). She conducted postdoctoral research in organic chemistry at the UNICAMP Institute of Chemistry (2012–2014). Currently, she is an associate professor at the Faculty of Technology of the State University of Campinas. She is a member of the Brazilian Chemical Society (Environmental Chemistry Division). She has experience in environmental chemistry, the preparation of new materials, and organic chemistry. Her research interests include water and wastewater treatment, adsorption processes, advanced oxidation processes, effluent toxicity studies, nanomaterials, and pollutants. She is also interested in the synthesis and characterization of new materials that function as adsorbents and catalysts.
