As a result of the appeal against the results of the last evaluation, the Committee for the Evaluation of Science and the Ministry of Education and Science recognised the arguments raised in our appeal, and in the discipline of chemical sciences the Institute was awarded the scientific category A+, while the category A was retained for physical sciences.
According to Article 267(1) of the Act, the basic criteria for evaluation are:
- criterion I - scientific or artistic level of conducted scientific activity; (weighting of 60%)
- criterion II - financial effects of scientific research and development works; (weight of 20%)
- criterion III - impact of scientific activity on the functioning of society and the economy; (weighting of 20%).
