The recent advantage in the syntheses and investigation of the optical ceramics carried out at Laboratory of optical nanoceramics of the ISC NASU will be presented. The next topics will be considered:
- kinetics of recharge Yb ions in Yb:YAG
- influence of SiO2 additive on the structure of Cr:YAG
- the problems of synthesis combined YAG/Nd:YAG.
