EU TalentOn is a new event that challenges young, talented scientists to find solutions to global challenges. The competition is an initiative of the European Commission and aims to promote collaboration and exchange between young scientists. EU TalentOn is aimed at young scientists from all over Europe, in particular researchers between the ages of 21 and 35, who are working on a scientific solution to one of the five problems identified by the European Union as key in the 2030 horizon. These problems are grouped into five thematic areas: 1) climate change adaptation, 2) cancer prevention and care, 3) smart and climate-neutral cities, 4) soil fertility restoration, and 5) water and ocean environmental restoration.
