DESCRIPTION (field, expectations, comments):

The aim of the competition is an employment for scientific post of adjunct with the competences of metallic and non-metallic single crystals growth (with PhD in chemistry obtained within a year). The candidate should poses meaningful scientific experience documented with published papers, and speak English fluently. The candidate should have at least five years’ experience in single crystal growth and some knowledge on preparation of superconducting materials.

The successful candidate should also have experience in synthesis of iron pnictides and chalcogenides. The applicant must have good ability to design and perform low- and high-temperature resistivity, magnetoresistivity, Hall effect, AC and DC susceptibility measurements.

The required documents:

  1. Application letter addressed to the Director of the Institute*;
  2. Copies of MSc and PhD diplomas;
  3. Curriculum Vitae and list of publications;
  4. Concise description of hitherto scientific achievements;
  5. Declaration that if employed the Institute of Low Temperature and Structure Research will be the applicant’s principal employer.

Determining the results: March 1, 2017.
All candidates will be informed about the result of competition.
Employment period: three years, full-time.
