The Institute

On July 22, 2026, the Minister of Science and Higher Education announced the completion of the next stage of the evaluation of the quality of scientific activity for the years 2022-2025.

We are delighted to announce that the Włodzimierz Trzebiatowski Institute of Low Temperature and Structure Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences has obtained:

• category A+ in the chemical sciences,
• category A in the physical sciences.

These results confirm the high level of scientific research conducted at the Institute and the significant contribution of our research teams to the development of chemical and physical sciences. They also demonstrate the effective implementation of the Institute's scientific strategy, international research activity, and the commitment of the entire INTiBS PAN community.

We sincerely thank all the Institute's staff, doctoral students, and collaborators for their contribution to achieving this success. These results confirm the strong position of INTiBS PAN among the leading scientific institutions in Poland and motivate us to continue developing our research at the highest world-class level.
