We discuss and compare metal-insulator transitions in correlated lattice fermions in normal and in spin-dependent disorders and show how symmetry of the microscopic model changes the phase diagrams. A short discussion of possible experimental realization in cold atom systems will be provided. A work in collaboration with J. Skolimowski, Univeristy of Warsaw, and Dieter Vollhardt, University of Augsburg.
