Fields of intensity 2 mT and 4mT have been used, with times of exposure raging form 0.25 h to 1 h. The results showed that magnetic field application had a growth inhibiting effect on bean seeds, however, the strength of the response varied with field intensity and time of exposure. Conducted statistical tests allowed to determine that in test groups exposed to the stronger magnetic field for longer periods of time the growth rate, measured as the changes in roots’ volume, was significantly lower than the growth rate in control groups.II Seminarium Młodych Badaczy MLSPMiNT
