The outcome of the study is the novel setup for MCE research in a magnetic field up to 14T, which will be presented in the seminar. For trial tests of the new test setup, we have used polycrystalline gadolinium samples. Preliminary tests of the setup showed a good agreement with the already published data (in magnetic fields up to 9 T). The test measurement of the same polycrystalline gadolinium samples but in a magnetic field of 14T showed that the value of giant MCE effect is equal to 19.5K. This is the first time, that MCE effect has been measured in a magnetic field of 14T.
