A1, sala 322 Hydrodynamics and Elasticity in Modern Physicsdr hab. Francisco Pena BenitezInstytut Fizyki Teoretycznej, Wydział Podstawowych Problemów Techniki, Politechnika WrocławskaIn this talk I will discuss the theories of Hydrodynamics and elasticity their relevance and range of applicability. In doing so, as an example I will mention recent progress in the transport of relativistic chiral fluids. Then, explain how the description of solids can be reinterpreted in terms of gauge fields and its relation to the physics of fractons. Fractons are a new class of quasiparticles that has been proposed in condensed matter theory possessing highly exotic properties, such as the lack or reduced mobility. To finish, I will construct hydrodynamics models capturing the transport properties of one class of fracton models.
