INTiBS PAN ())Streszczenie:The topic of the presentation will be the thermal conductivity (k) of the Weyl semimetal NbP, measured in a configuration where both the magnetic field (B) and the temperature gradient are applied parallel to the direction [0 0 1]. The k(B) dependence obtained in this way shows unexpectedly large quantum oscillations at low temperatures. Their amplitude is nearly two orders of magnitude larger than one which can be calculated using the Wiedemann-Franz law. The discussion of possible sources of the observed discrepancy indicates that the appearance of chiral zero sound in NbP can be a probable cause of the phenomenon.
