 The REMAT2026 is a continuation of earlier conferences (REMAT 2008\, 2011\
 , 2013\, 2015\, 2018) organized by the Institute of Low Temperature and St
 ructure Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences every two/three years i
 n Poland. For the 2024 edition\, the location was moved to Vilnius\, Lithu
 ania. This time\, the REMAT Committee and the society decided to jointly o
 rganize the event in Palermo\, with the University of Palermo\, Vilnius Un
 iversity\, and the Institute of Low Temperature and Structure Research. Th
 e scope covers novel rare earth materials\, including ore extraction\, pur
 ification\, fabrication technology\, and studies of fundamental optical\, 
 electric\, catalytic\, magnetic\, and other properties with applications.
