Project: High sensitive thermal imaging for biomedical and microelectronic application
PROJECT TITLE: High sensitive thermal imaging for biomedical and microelectronic application
PROJECT NUMBER: POIR 04.04.00-00-2436/16-01
PROJECT TYPE: FNP First Team
PROJECT GOALS:
This project is devoted to the development of a new thermal imaging technique based on a new type of nanocrystalline luminescent thermometers for biomedical and microelectronic applications. Thanks to the use of a unique combination of ions of admixtures of transition metal ions and lanthanides, it will be possible to significantly increase the sensitivity of the thermometer. Two groups of luminescent thermometers with increased sensitivity will be made, working in the near infrared range for biomedical applications and working in the visible range for microelectronic applications. The obtained results can significantly reduce the costs of temperature monitoring systems and improve the quality of safety systems.
PROJECT VALUE: PLN 3,270,410.00
PROJECT COORDINATOR: dr hab. Łukasz Marciniak, prof. INTiBS PAN
PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION PERIOD: 2017-2022
